Check illumination of the instrument cluster and interior lighting for correct function.] WINDSHIELD – INSPECT – [Check for damage.] ENGINE OIL – REPLACE ENGINE OIL FILTER – REPLACE SERVICE INTERVAL INDICATOR/DISPLAY – RESET – [Read out service data from instrument cluster and reset ASSYST PLUS service interval display. If the service/maintenance work has not, or has only partially been carried out after the ASSYST PLUS service interval display has been reset, the maintenance computer must be reset to its original settings.]
- Lube, Full Synthetic Oil, Filter Service; Removal and replacement of existing engine oil and oil filter, Engine oil provides lubrication, cooling and cleaning to the internal parts of the engine. Engine oil degrades as it becomes dirty and contaminated from normal engine operation. The engine oil filter helps to protect the machined surfaces and bearings in an engine by removing particles from the engine oil. - Flush Brake System; Replenish With BG Performance Fluids to OE Specifications, Bleed System. Inspect For Leaks & Test Functions.
- Attach Diagnostic Equipment and Memory Saver: Test Charging System – Alternator, Battery, & Starter. Clean Terminals & Replace Battery. *See Report* (Register Battery & Clear Codes As Applicable)
- Perform BG Performance Induction Service: Clean fuel injectors, Clean throttle body, Clean plenum and air-intake, Clean intake valves and ports,Remove combustion chamber deposits, Correct balance of fuel and air in system.
- Preform BG Performance Cooling System Service; Visually Inspect Hoses, Add CoolingSystem Cleaner, Flush Cooling System, and Replenish Coolant to OE Specifications, Bleed System.
- Perform Transmission Service; Flush System and Replenish Fluids to OE Specifications, ***Replace Pan Gasket & Filter As Applicable*** Transmission fluid provides lubrication, cooling and cleaning to various parts of the transmission The transmission fluid filter (if equipped) helps to prolong the life of the fluid by removing larger particles, but eventually the fluid and filter need to be changed.
